    I would like to invite everyone out to a celebratory lunch on January 2nd. We were going to do the whole holiday party thing, but figured most people had enough going on. We would just like to have a little get together over lunch to say thank. Because of you, it has been a successful first year for Underground Athlete. And what better way to start of a new one than with all you can eat sushi?

    Up until now I have always kept my goals to myself. I haven't announced them publicly because I've been too scared to fail. I hate to fail and I hate to lose.     In kettle-bell lifting, there are no complicated dance moves. There's no need to vary the equipment to bars and resistance bands. Participants in this old-school type of exercise are too busy exhausting their muscles to worry about such frivolity.

    Kettle bells, also called giryas, are traditional Russian iron weights that look - and feel - like cannonballs with handles. Think of old-time pictures of European strongmen with exaggerated muscle definition, and you've got the inspiration for today's lifters.
